This is going to sound terribly amateurish of me (go figure); but what in the world does 10X mean when it comes to powdered sugar? I have just been using store brand stuff (but recipe calls for 10X), and had success with buttercream, but my royal left much to be desired. Is 10X one of those things that costs big bucks to buy, because at the rate I go through it I will be making nothing but buttercream!

Thank you - those did help. Looks like if I'm not having a problem with lumping, I'm fine with the powdered sugar I am using. Thank you again for the links.
