Pine Cones And Cala Lillies
This cake was inspired by Colette Peter's "Chocolate Fantasia" The central bottom tier (14 inches) and smallest tier (4 inches) were carrot cake with brown sugar SMBC. The other tiers (10, 6, cut-out 10 and cut-out 8) were chocolate cake with chocolate SMBC. Everything was covered in light blue vanilla fondant with chocolate fondant and gumpaste decorations. Bride and Groom are both park rangers with pine cones being a central part of the decor and the Bride and attendants carried cala lillies so chocolate fondant pine cones and gumpaste cala lillies were the finishing accents along with a big dress bow in the back.

Allan's Garden
Birthday cake for an avid gardener. Went to his house and took pictures and reproduced his backyard garden. It was spring so needed a little imagination to see his prize gourds growing. Path is crushed meringues, planter dirt is crushed chocolate cookies, garden is chocolate dirt. Everthing else is fondant and gumpaste.
