Rosie, The Teddy Bear Cake
Taken from photos of the actual toy teddy, I carved the body and head from vanilla bean sponge cake. I used a number 233 nozzle to pipe all the white 'fur' using white royal icing (my hand is still aching!) The dress is pink fondant and I used strips of cake lace for the frill edging.

A 3 tier cake for a 50th wedding anniversary. Bottom tier is fruit cake and the other two are vanilla sponge. Cream fondant and gold drapes are held in place with posies of gold roses and white arum lilies with gold centres.
