Wooden Bucket Beer Cake
This cake I did for my husbands birthday in 2014. It started with a 9" round cake, dirty iced. I then created the bucket by cutting the slats out of a fondant gumpaste mixture and wood grained them, allowed them to dry for a couple of hours so that they would stand up but still conform to the cake. The bottles are made from sugar, the ice is isomalt. the fishing tackle is REAL so if you go that route just buy some cheap tackle and put it on for looks. Just make sure to inform people that its non edible ;)

Chandelier Cake
this cake is one of my all time favorites! When creating a chandelier cake there are a lot of structural things you have to keep in mind. There are different things you can buy to help the process. I'm lucky in the way that myself and my husband are pretty thrifty. the way I did this cake was I decorated the tiers separately as you would a normal cake. they were placed on plates that were slightly smaller than the cake in example the 10" was on an 8" plate just so you couldnt see the plate. Then there is an internal structure that holds the cake to give the allusion of a chandelier.

Rainbow Trout And Board Cake
This cake was done for a surprise 40th for an avid fisherman. Everything is 100% edible. rainbow trout and beer can are rice crispies. board is airbrushed and the fish is hand painted with different colors of luster dust. to replicate the fish I printed of the picture of a rainbow trout and used that as my guide for the colors, lines ect.
