Cooked Turkey Cake
I made a fake cooked turkey cake for Thanksgiving 2011. I was pretty happy with how it turned out. The toughest part was shaping the limbs with rice krispie treats. I got the premade ones; I assume those are harder to work with than homemade, but I was in a time crunch. Here's the how to I used: http://www.keeponcaking.com/tag/turkey-cake/

Fozzie Bear Cake
Fozzie Bear Cake with chocolate buttercream frosting (I know he's lighter, but I figured the chocolate frosting would be yummy) and fondant for eyes, nose and mouth. Also fondant letters surrounding Fozzie. Cupcakes just have star sprinkles. I didn't want to use a star tip to cover the cake, but after this cake I now know why it's suggested. This cake was made for my fiance's 31st birthday, just in time for the Muppet movie.

Cherry Blossom (In Orange) Cake
I broke a bunch of my flowers, and thought this was a fun way of using the loose petals. Although it's orange, they reminded me of a cherry blossom look. I liked how it came out with the petals blowing in the wind. The main issue I had was with the frosting cracking... but this was for a cake class, so I'm still learning! The borders is the star and shell.
