This groom was a huge hockey fan. His favorite team is the St. Louis Blues so I made him a puck, stick, glove and a jersey with his name and wedding date on the back.
This was for a baby shower the week before Halloween and the theme was "Welcome Little Pumpkin". The small pumpkin and baby are fondant, the top tier is white velvet with raspberry filling and the bottom tier is dark chocolate cake with chocolate ganache filling - yum!
This cake was for a western themed baby shower, for boy/girl twins.
My daughter wanted a turtle cake for her 4th birthday. I was also working on another cake with gum paste butterflies, when she saw the butterflies she had to steal one to put on the turtle's back!
This was my first sculpted cake. It was my son's birthday and of course it was when I had four other cakes to make that same weekend! He has always loved frogs so I wasn't surprised when he wanted this! It was fun to make and now I'm hooked on sculpting cakes!
