Flowery!
I made this cake for my cousin's first wedding anniversary... my first attempt at making a gumpaste gerbera (i don't really have the right cutters so had to improvise)..the flowers stuck all over the cake are piped with royal icing, dried and then stuck on the cake (these flowers were copied from the print on their wedding invitation)...the colors were also matched to their wedding invite. The top tier was a rich fruit cake and the bottom tier had one layer of chocolate and one layer of vanilla pound cake...entire cake covered in vanilla fondant. The top tier was a 6" round and the bottom tier was an 8" square.

Cute Couple Wedding Cake...
The couple asked me to make a cute topper of the bride & groom standing together..they basically wanted the faces to be cute.... and they said their color schem was light green, light pink and white and they wanted more green, then white and little pink....so this is what I created for them and they loved it :) It was a rich chocolate cake, filled with rich chocolate ganache & covered in fondant. The flowers, leaves & couple topper were made of gp the other accents on the cake were fondant and RI. TFL!! :)

Grecian Cameo Wedgwood Cake.....
I made this for a friend of my parents, who really likes wedgwood. I found a picture of a grecian cameo online and tried to make something similar looking. Cameo & scrolls are made of gumpaste...I used the JEM elegant scroll cutter for the scrolls on the corners and 3 sides on the board. The cameo is made without a mold... I cut out the basic outline of it with an exacto knife, created the facial features with a ball tool and veining tool and the hairdo, drapes, roses etc were just made with my hands. The tiny dots around the scrolls on the corners are piped with royal icing. The cake was a rich fruit cake covered with marzipan and then fondant. TFL :)
