Bear Cake
I made this for my Husbands 35th birthday. He was going on a grizzly bear hunt the next week, so I thought I would attempt to make a cake that looked like he had just taken a huge grizzly. I was pretty happy with how it turned out. This was last year and I have experimented a bit more with cake and wish I did a few thing differently. But I still like the little guy. And his hunt was successful! ;-) Thanks to the good luck cake <3

Forget Me Not
This was the first cake I ever decorated. I have never taken any classes but I have been playing around with cakes for a few years now. And I love it! I wish there were classes available in the small town we live in! I first attempted this because the person we had make our wedding cake did a bit of a sloppy job. I wish I would have made it myself!

3D Monkey Cake
I made this for a friend's son for his 2nd birthday. He loves Monkeys and Bananas. SO this a banana cream cake with strawberry's and cream filling. It was Delish! I had a lot of fun making this little guy. His arms, legs and head and tail are Rice Krispie Treats. And the best part is that his head bobbles! Thanks to my helpful honey for making a cake board capable of making my monkey's head bobble. This was a HUGE hit at the party. And something I have never seen done before!

Guinness Cake
This was a cake for my husbands Birthday. He is a big Guinness fan, So I used Guinness buttercream and and Guinness whip for the foam on top. The cake is yellow because that is his favorite. But I think it would have paired better with chocolate cake. The board (my favorite part) was covered in fondant and painted to look like a hardwood bar top. The napkin is fondant and the writing was with a food color pen.
