Hamburger

This cake was done with fondant covering vanilla and chocolate cakes. The ketchup and mustard are buttercream and so is the seeds on top.

Bolt

I was requested to make a Bolt cake for a girl turning 10. This is what I came up with. It it white cake done in the wonder mold pan covered with fondant. The head is a Styrofoam ball with RKT for the nose and the tail is RKT too. I had a lot of fun doing this one

Cain's Quest

This cake has the logo of "Cain's Quest" Canada's longest snowmobile endurance race ( http://www.cainsquest.com/english.php ) that takes place here every year. The Birthday Boy loves this race and so his girlfriend had me put it on the cake. It is a Vanilla cake with BC icing. The background was airbrushed black . Thanks for looking :)

Special K

This cake was a chocolate 1/4 slab covered in BC icing. The cereal on the spoon is actually Special K :) The Birthday girl is a Special K fanatic so they ordered a cereal box for her birthday! I love doing cakes like this that is special to the receiver :)

Drums

Chocolate cake crumb coated with vanilla BC covered with chocolate fondant mixed with white fondant to create the wood grain effect.

Black & White

I did this cake for a local gift store that wanted a display cake for their window. Fondant covered with royal piping.

Chips Anyone?

The birthday girl gave up chips for Lent. So for her 40th birthday I made her this cake. Plain ruffles are one of her favorites! It is Vanilla and Chocolate cake with bc filling and fondant. I had a lot of fun with this one:)

Stars For 30!!

The customer designed her own cake from one she found on the internet. I wish I could give credit to the actual designer! It is Vanilla cake covered in fondant, with fondant accents.

Red & Black

This cake was cherry chip with BC filling. The top layer was covered in fondant and airbrushed red with black piping. The bottom layer was covered with chocolate fondant and airbrushed black. The ribbon is satin. TFL

Chocolate Scrolls

Rum cake top tier, chocolate cake with chocolate ganash filling for the second tier and Red Velvet for the bottom tier. Covered in fondant with chocolate BC piping.

Calla Lilies And Candles

The top layer is a dummy cake and the bottom is Vanilla with BC filling. All the flowers are handmade - except the leaves.

Baptism Cake

I tried two new techniques with this cake, quilling and the new border I loved from Londoncakes.com. Could use some work, but I liked how it turned out!

Roses

I did this cake for a bride who "forgot" to order a wedding cake - 3 days before the wedding she called in a panic and wanted a 4 tiered cake with ribbon and roses and piping and on and on.... this is what I was able to pull off for her - she was lucky 'cause I didn't have anything else on the books!!!

Mhs School Cake

Window Display Cake

I was asked by a local giftware store to make a dummy cake for her display window. I made all the flowers out of gumpaste. I'm so proud of myself!! This cake even has little shopping bags to match the topper!

How Do I Love Thee

The bride came to me with this cake in mind. The origional is from www.maisiefantaisie.co.uk . It was itilian (sp) sponge cake for the top layer, chocolate with BC filling for the middle tier and cherry cake for the bottom tier. I've since gotten rave review and LOTS of orders from this ome :o)
