First Birthday Cake

I made this cake for my son's first birthday. It is a double barrel, buttercream iced cake with fondant and gumpaste decorations. Chocolate mudcake with ganache and vanilla cake with strawberry cream cheese filling.

Birdcage Cake

I made this for my mother's birthday. Buttercream iced, double barrel cake with fondant and gumpaste accents. It was my first time making gumpaste roses, and I spent so much time on the roses I never considered making the bird for the "birdcage!"

Baby Shower

I made this cake for a friend's baby shower. She has been waiting for a baby for such a long time, and I wanted her cake to be very special. 12" chocolate with marshmallow filling, 9" strawberry with strawberry cream cheese filling, and 6" white with raspberry cream filling. Iced in buttercream with fondant and gumpaste decorations.

Almond Praline Mascarpone Cake

I made this cake for Father's Day. It was an almond cake filled with ganache, topped with almond praline and chocolate cut-outs, and frosted with whipped mascarpone frosting. My husband and father-in-law loved it!
