Basketball Deluxe Thirtieth
Made this cake for my eldest brother two weeks ago. Basketball hoop with faux basketball on top, Concept 1 APL basketball shoes, and a giant cupcake for the birthday boy. A lot of hard work and sleep deprivation went into this, lol. It was well-worth-it though. TFL and comments welcome xo

Mj Tip-Toe Dancing Shoes
This was one very challenging cake I did last week! Probably the most challenging job I've accepted to date. It took me about three days to complete, including having to redo one of the shoes. A lot of trial and error involved in the process, but SOOO glad it turned out great! Sure, there are things I would do differently next time, but for a first I have to say I am sooo proud of this creation! First time I've had to do involve actual carpentry in my cakes in terms of creating the base to achieve Michael Jackson's famous tip-toe pose (with his hands in his crotch). Worth the sleepless nights. Oh, and I didn't have time to dust off any excess icing sugar on the laces and soles because I was pressed for time. The person who came collect the cake was WATCHING me as I was still finishing off the cake...talk about pressure! hehe. Hope to do another again soon. TFL and comments welcome xo

Carrier Pigeon Cake
This order was a nice surprise. I received an email from a friend in London, who wanted a carrier pigeon cake for her bf in Auckland (New Zealand). She sent me a pic of a cool-lookin' carrier pigeon, and after one sleepless night, this is what I came up with. Hope you enjoy the pics guys! TFL and comments welcome! xo

Louis Vuitton Handbag Birthday Cake
Okay, so here is my first ever handbag/purse cake! Made this for a cake order last week. It was a learn-as-you-go experience for me and definitely took longer than expected, but so glad it turned out great! Decided to give it that nice glossy finish! Thanks for the inspiration from all the other CC members that make such beautiful designer purse cakes! TFL and comments welcome!! :-)

Nsw Shield 30Th Birthday Cake
Made this cake for my cousin-in-law's surprise 30th birthday last Friday. It was another all-nighter but well worth-it. All details are handcut (yes, it took FOREVER, I was really wishing I had a cricut) and made from fondant. Oh, and to those who don't know what sport this is from, it is RUGBY LEAGUE. TFL and comments welcome! :-)

Tiger Flower
Made this on the weekend for a girl who turned 13. She loves tigers and the colour purple, so this is the design I came up with. This is my first anemone flower (actually first official flower) and I am very happy with the way it turned out. I also made matching cupcakes with daisies to match the daisies wrapped around the cake. TFL and comments welcome!

Love, Snow And Candy Canes
Made this cake for my Mum's midwinter Christmas work function yesterday. Since it doesn't snow here, I thought it would be cool to add snow on the cake. And of course, candy canes!! To those of you who are wondering why we have a midwinter Christmas celebration, well, it's simply because our Christmas falls during Summer. There's probably another reason for it, but this is what I know. TFL and comments welcome! :-)

Teddy On Clouds
I made this two tier baby shower cake for my brother and his wife (expecting their second baby boy any day now). It is my own design, but was inspired by Andrea's Sweetcakes for the clouds. I also have been wanting to try the billowing technique, so I incorporated that here, too. TFL and comments welcome! :-)

Rosette Butterfly Cake
I decided to make an elegant butterfly cake for my sister's 31st birthday on the weekend. The rosettes are inspired by I AM BAKER and the butterfly shape by kathyx1 on cc (although her one was a totally different and younger design, she was still an inspiration). The cake flavour is vanilla bean latte, which is thanks to Rosie from Sweetapolita. Wow, sooo many talented people to thank on this one! They have inspired me to come up with my own design, so thank you once again. It would suitable for an engagement or wedding, too. TFL and comments more than welcome!

Chocolate, Toffee And Paramore Inspired Birthday Cake!
First time playing with chocolate and toffee! Messy but SOOO MUCH FUN and well worth it in the end. Made this for my cousin's 14th birthday who is a Paramore fan...hence the yellow butterfly (similar to the one on their album cover). This was an experimental cake, so I will take note on certain things that need to be altered for next time (such as making sure I make allowances for the chocolate exterior so that there are no gaps on the sides; to do the writing before attaching the toffee :-P etc). Loved making this cake! A nice break from novelty cakes, as much as I love them :-) TFL and comments welcome!!

9Th Birthday Skate Park
This is a skate park I made for my son's 9th birthday. He's into his ripstick and loves going to the local skatepark halfpipe. I wanted to create something similar but shaped like a '9' as opposed to an 8. Wanted to create a graffiti-like style and an explosion of colours. Everything is edible except the candles of course. Fondant covered and accents, writing using food pen. TFL and comments welcome! :-)
