Farewell Mr. Fletch!!
Made this cake for my son's Teacher's farewell last week (he left NZ to move to Tunisia). He was a very inspiring and awesome 'learning coach' that is sadly missed not just by my son, but also by the rest of Summerland Primary. My son wanted to show his gratitude in cake form, so this is what I came up with. Enjoy and comments welcome! TFL!! xo

Simple Elegance
Made this two-tiered cake for my husband and I's ten year wedding anniversary a couple of weeks ago. Chocolate cake covered in ivory fondant, adorned with fresh creamy coloured roses and baby's breath. We renewed our vows in the presence of God, family and friends. It was a beautiful day that we will cherish forever! Now, this cake was a miracle! I only just started it that same morning! Let's just say God is great and gave me the strength to make it happen! TFL and comments welcome! xo

Donald Duck Turns 21
Made this special cake for Lewys-D'Von who turned 21 a couple of weeks ago. Donald Duck is the character he was given ever since he was a little boy. His Mum wanted to continue their tradition of celebrating special milestones with a character cake. TFL and comments welcome. Enjoy!! xo Note: the words at the front of the cake means 'through hardship to glory'

Cars Track
Made this Cars themed '4' track cake on the weekend for a boy named Keanu. All details, including Lightning McQueen, are fondant. Lightning McQueen's details were hand-painted. Had some issues with the white turning pink, but still pleased with how he turned out. Radiator Springs inspired, too. TFL and comments welcome!! xo

Cars For My Twin Boys!
A couple of weekends ago my family and I celebrated my twins' third birthday! Our theme was Cars, and what better cake than best buds Lightning McQueen and Tow Mater! I stumbled upon the original design by Andrea Sullivan, who is such an inspiration to many cakers out there! I had some trouble with the execution of this particular cake, but was still very pleased with the final outcome!! TFL and comments welcome!

My Best Friend's Wedding
...was held in the beautiful Rarotonga, Cook Islands, last week. I had the pleasure of making their wedding cupcake tower in their chosen colour theme - rasta (red, green and yellow). It was scary though because I had to hand carry the cake and cupcakes from New Zealand to Cook Islands - talk about heavyyy. My first overseas trip with my creations. I'm so glad they made it there in tact. It was such a beautiful wedding! Rarotonga is a paradise that I would love to visit again!! TFL and comments welcome xo
