I handmade everything on this cake! I loved making it!
This is a cupcake tower of a popular childrens show in the UK
This cake was made for a little girls 2nd birthday. I really enjoyed making all the wildlife but most of all love the bottom tier and reckon it could make a good wedding cake!
I used royal icing to pipe the outline then filled it in with piping jelly coloured with various sugarpaste colours. It turned out ok!
the huts were all made from cake and the base. Rocks were made from sugarpaste, the moat was from piping gel swirled with colour and the sand was fine brown sugar!
this was for a first birthday and all animals are made from sugar paste
This cake was for my sisters wedding. Butterflies & roses are all made from gum paste / flower paste
This cake took quite a long time as theres quite a bit of detail but it was a lot of fun to make!
Carving this cake took the most time overall and the label is printed onto sugarpaste with edible ink
the base is carved out of an 8" round cake and then topped with a polystyrene cut in half to get the dome shape. Cherry was made from paste with a jam glaze
This cake was about a foot tall and 8" wide!! Because of the size I used an 8" polystyrene dummy with a 8" cake on top.
This was another of my early creations! I loved making this for my daughter - the turrets are all from flower / gum paste set really hard and the "grass" is green coloured coconut!
Another early effort - sponge inside the plant pot :-)
10 inch round pizza cake, covered in raspberry jam mixed with melted white chocolate as the "sauce" and the "cheese" is melted white chocolate drizzled over!
I loved making this cake for my daughters 1st birthday. The fairies were quite fiddly so I used pearlescent spray to finish off the fairytale!
This cake was for a 40th birthday and was massive! Most of the work was in the carving and the bike on top was made using a cutter and gum paste painted with food colours
another early cake!
This cake was a bit of a failure as the shape turned out really badly - it was my first (and last) foray into ganache based buttercream but it was good fun to make!
This was one of the first cakes I made so I am not massively impressed with it, but it was for my younger daughters christening so I am very fond of it!
This cake was for my daughters 3rd birthday. The head is actually polystyrene covered with icing to try and avoid gravity taking hold! Wings and wand were made from flower paste and had a lot of fun with glitter!!
