"lincoln Log" Inspired Cake
This was made for my nephews 9th birthday. He LOVES Lincoln Logs and is always playing with him. The cake is a suprise and I can't wait until he sees it. I usded the Wilton house pan and the logs are made of modeling chocolate that I rolled into logs and cut the notches by hand. Trees are sugar cones with modeling chocolate leaves (thanks to the cc mbr who had shown a tree like this earlier this week as I totaly stole your idea!) This cake was definatly a labor of love....but so worth it.

Princess Tiara Cake
Two tier cake, bottom layer wrapped in modeling chocolate, buttercream roses, top tier iced in buttercream, tiara was done in chocolate. I must have made the tiara 4 times before I could get it to unmold w/out breaking. The cake turned out beautiful, despite never doing "quilting" before. TF:!

Jungle Baby Shower Sheet Cake
Red Velvet cake with "crusting'" cream cheese icing and modeling chocolate decorations. The cake as a bit moist when I began icing it, and no matter how hard I tried I couldn't make the cake particles disapear, giving the sky a speckled look. Overall I was pleased with how it turned out, and the lady who ordered it was just tickled pink when she saw it, so it all worked out in the end. TFL!

Thanksgiving Dinner
This was my first Thanksgiving dinner, complete with turkey, mashed potatoes and peas/carrots. I had SO much fun making these cakes for my daughters first Thanksgiving diner she is hosting. The turkey is carrot cake with cream cheese frosting. The side dishes are apple spice cake with french vanilla buttercream. Peas/carrots and butter are modling chocolate, gravy is caramel sauce. I do not have an airbrush, so the turkey was basted twice with a mixture of gel food coloring and corn syrup. The stuffing is left over carrot cake with tiny chocolate cranberries. Happy Thanksgiving everyone....have a great day!
