Breast Cancer 3 Day Walk Cake

I threw this cake together for a party being thrown to raise money for the 3 Day walk. I wanted to do something more...detailed but just didn't have time. They loved it though and it was gone the next day so couldn't be that bad right?? :)

Boys Toys Birthday/shower Cake

I actually made this for a baby shower. All the decorations are chocolate, some molded...some drawn out by hand on parchment paper. The only things that are not edible are the tractor and the truck.

Butter Pecan Heart

This is fast becoming my most requested flavor of cake. It's butter pecan with Wilton's Bettercream Topping, a layer of thinned caramel icing and pecans in the middle and the sides covered with pecans and drizzled with caramel icing. It's DELICIOUS!

Strawberry Shortcake Freehand

I love this cake. I found the picture in a coloring book, cut the sheet cake around the window frame, frosted it in chocolate, and freehanded the design. The flowers and butterfly are chocolate that I piped onto wax paper and transferred. I think this is my favorite cake so far! Isn't she cute?

The Family Guy Birthday

I made this for my sister's boyfriend. I traced the outline of the picture onto waxed paper with chocolate and then tranferred it onto the cake (i didn't have time for color flow). It worked out okay I think.

Detroit Pistons Cake

This cake was a pain but I was proud of myself when I finished. The whole logo is freehanded except for the horse head which is based in chocolate fondant then went over with buttercream.
