Welcome Baby Fisher-Price Jungle Theme
I donated a cake to a school auction, and they requested a cake to match their Fisher-Price Jungle Animals babyshower theme. I chose the mom and baby leopards, and tried my hand at a frozen buttercream transfer for the first time. Then I filled in the buttercream around them and free-handed the trees.

Woodland Tree Stump Birthday Cake
Inspired by beautiful tree stump babyshower cakes here on cakecentral, my daughter decided on a woodland theme for her 7th birthday party, and requested a tree stump cake. The cake is chocolate, has raspberry jam filling and is covered in hand-painted mmf. I used buttercream for the grass. The owl, deer, toadstool, flowers, hedgehogs, bunnies and squirrel are all done in modeling chocolate, my newest favorite thing!

Lego Cake
Lego cake, chocolate and filled with choc. buttercream. A friend asked me to make this for her son and his 2 little friends, when they turned 3. The cake sides and race cars are fondant and the other toppings are gumpaste. Inspiration from http://www.creativepartyplace.com/boys/lego-birthday/ and race car tutorial from http://cakejournal.com/tutorials/how-to-make-a-race-car-cake-topper/

Chocolate Basket Of Fruit
6" pound cake, filled with homemade strawberry jam, frosted with buttercream. The border is made with my 3rd attempt at chocolate "cigars" (the first two failed dismally!) and then topped with fresh blueberries and strawberries. The fruit offset the richness of the cake and chocolate quite nicely.
