This birthday cake is chocolate/vanilla swirl with a strawberry compote filling covered in vanilla buttercream covered with fondant. The topper is a styrofoam “dummy” that I covered in fondant.
I made this for my sister's wedding. It's my first cupcake tower so I was very nervous about it but really wanted to do this for her. I don't own a business and this was my wedding gift to them. The groom is a Disney fan so I incorporated some Mickey silhouettes on some of the cupcakes. The cupcake flavors were chocolate mocha with a vanilla cream filling covered in mocha butter cream (same as the 6" cake topper), and apple cupcakes filled with caramel and covered in a cinnamon cream cheese frosting. Cupcake decorations are fondant and the flowers on the cake are all gumpaste. She loved them!

I made this cake for my friend's sons who are Batman and Superman fans :) Lower cake is white cake filled with chocolate ganache. Upper cake is strawberry cake filled with strawberry jam. All decorations are made of fondant including Batman and Superman. Attending their party later today. Can't wait for them to see it!

I made this cake for my son's birthday. It was great working with him on this cake. He was my "Technical Advisor" :) The cake is chocolate with chocolate buttercream filling and semi-sweet chocolate chips. The cake is covered in buttercream with fondant decorations. The Death Star is RKT covered in fondant. I used drink stirers for the green laser beams and I bought a Darth Vader candle.
