Blue And Brown Rattle Shower Cake

Made this for a shower at work. Chocolate cake with banana creme filling buttercream icing with fondant wrap and accents. The colors inspired by the baby's linens, the circles play into mom's modern style, and the rattle is fondant covered chocolate RKT. TFL.

Brandon's Guitar Hero Birthday Cake

My nephew and I alway enjoy our guitar hero jam sessions... I think he really enjoys my lack of gaming skills. But I hope to have redeemed myself in cake =) The cake is lemon with a rasberry mousse filling. The guitars are all fondant with a toothpick in the brdges for support. The microphone stand is a fondant covered toothpic. For those not familiar with the game the black draping with dots is what tell you what notes to play and the light blue stars mean star power. This cake was for my sorority sister's godson. This was inspired by pinkicing's cake. The little man was having a Halloween party for his birthday so everyone got dressed up. He was soo happy with his cake. Eventually he was allowed to dig in and he went straight for the rocket. The corn stalks were made using my pasta machine. Thanks for looking
