Princess Castle

This is a lemon lavender cake with lemon filling, glazed with lavender glaze and topped with a tart lemon buttercream. Then wrapped in chocolate (as per instructions on this site! Very easy and elegant!) and topped with berries!

The top of the hat is an orange pineapple cake baked in a pyrex bowl - on top of an 8" round for height. Under the fondant brim is a large browine iced with mocha icing.

Treasure Island

The 3D cake was made half rounds, and sculpted - iced with buttercream and decorated with pretzels and candy. The crow's nest is a truffle. The water is blue jello of course (if you do this.... cut a hole in the jello and set the pan.... our jello warmed slightly and didn't support the cake enough! We ended up with a shipwreck - easily fixed with black shoelace licorice
