Baby's Crib

This cake was made for a Baby Shower. The crib itself is made from pine therefore can be keepsake. The crib mattress is a chocolate cake with buttercream icing and covered in MMF. This one is alot of fun to do and it was a bug hit at the Baby Shower

The Stocking Were Hung

This cake was inspired from other photos posted here. The base of the cake is vanilla w/buttercream icing and MMF. The firplace was created from styrofoam and covered with MMF. The Christmas Tree was created from RKT and covered with MMF. I decorated the tree with a battery-operated miniature light set and also placed a battery-operated miniature flicering candle in the fireplace. The cake was a big hit!!!

Happy New Year/ Happy Birthday

This cake was made for a New Year's Eve Birthday. One layer vanilla, one layer chocolate w/buttercream icing and MMF. The stars were inspired from other photos here. They are made from 50/50 gumpaste/MMF. Thanks for the idea!!

Christening Cake

I made this cake for my Granddaughter's Christening. The baby in the globe was inspired by kwebbeltjeand butterflies by Mireille. Thanks to both !! The shoes and baby were made from 50/50 and the butterflies were made from gumpaste. The cake was covered with MMF.

Baby Crib

I made this cake for my daughter's baby shower. The crib is made from pine . The mattress is vanilla cake with vanilla buttercream and covered in satin fondant. The pillow and bed skirt are made from material. I have since made a mattress from foam and covered it in the same color material as the fondant blanket was so when my granddaughter is old enough, she will have a doll's crib to play with.

I made this cake for my daughter's boyfriend's birthday. He loved the cake so my he did not want to cut it! The cake is chocolate fudge with chocolate buttercream icing.

Baby Crib

This i s a cake that I made for my daughter's baby shower. I made the crib out of wood and painted it white. The crib mattress is a vanilla cake with buttercream icing and hot pink fondant. I added a baby doll and a pillow and bedskirt that I had made from material. Everyone was amazed by it and I don't think they believed it was an actual cake till it was cut. I have since made a foam mattress and covered it in the same color material as the fondant was. Now it is a keepsake for my daughter and granddaughter.
