Square Wedding Cake, White On White
This is my 3rd or 4th wedding cake! I was happier with this one than with any other I have made. It was my first time using SPS and I really liked it- just got to figure out how to manage my chubby fingers when sliding the cake on the next level! :P The bottom and top layers were chocolate cake with a whipped ganache filling, and the middle layer was a coconut cake with coconut cream filling.... yum! I have a love hate relationship with cake/filling scraps....

Boston Red Sox
This cake was for a co-workers husband. The cake was lemon with raspberry filling, covered in buttercream (I loved getting away with the rough texture for the ground!). The home plate is fondant, the hat is carved/filled cake covered with fondant (rim was fondant/gumpaste blend that I made earlier that week), and ball is rice crispys covered in fondant (as you can tell from the bumpy texture :P). It turned out great and the birthday boy loved it! Thanks to many here on cakecentral for elements of inspiration!

Blue And Black Modern Wedding Cake
This was my second wedding cake! I'm glad I decided to do a second one after a frustrating experience with the first- it went much better! Tripple chocolate fudge cake for bottom and top layers, WASC for the middle, filled and frosted with buttercream. I was very happy with the results on this!

Baby Boy Shoes For Laytham
This cake was for another one of my best friends baby showers (I swear I'm the only one that's not pregnant right now!). I made the cute little shoes out of gumpaste and a template I found here on Cakecentral :) I LOVED how they turned out but also learned a lot about what I would do differently next time!

Simple Round Wedding Cake
This cake was an absolute nightmare :P The bride wanted it 7" tall, and after researching I decided that i should put a support board and dowels after the bottom 3.5". I used bubble straws the... ahem... first attempt, but the cake was carrot cake and was too heavy and it collapsed on itself at 1:30 AM the day the cake was due.... SO i started from scratch, worked all night and day and delivered this beauty at 5:00 PM. It turned out ok, but I don't know if I'll ever want to do another wedding cake. The fondant was also a little tricky! The bride wanted these vertical lines like a cake she saw in a magazine (i think decorated with buttercream and a comb), but with fondant. I'm happy I got to make this cake for her, but sad that I underestimated how stressfull it would be!

Born To Be Wild
Made for a baby shower themed "born to be wild". Cake is chocolate and lemon, both with white chocolate ganache and raspberry filling. Frosted with buttercream! I had planned to put a bow or topper of some sort on this, but ran out of time :S Luckily had these royal icing flowers to decorate with!
