My daughter loves animal prints and Bratz! So, when I found this Cloe doll it inspired me to make her cake after it. The top tier glitters like her tights, the middle is leopard like her top and the bottom is zebra just because!
I made this cake for my Mom's Birthday. It's a 4 layer vanilla cake with buttercream icing and decorations.
One layer cake covered in fondant with gumpaste daisies and leaves.
I got this idea from Wilton.com. They looked like this when I first assembled them but after sitting overnight the fondant got droopy from all the moisture. That's my inexperience I guess. Next time, I will assemble them right beforehand.
This was the grand finale cake for Course 3. The roses took forever but turned out nicely. admittedly the icing job is sloppy but it still looked ok.
This is the Grand Finale cake from Course 2. The flowers are made of royal icing and the rest is buttercream. The basketweave is my favorite thing so far. It was a lot of work but it turned out so elegant.
I had made a Colts cake the previous week for the Superbowl and my son loved it so much that he wanted one for his 1/2 birthday celebration at school. His favorite color is green so we made the helmet a light shade of kelly green.
My son loved this cake so much that I made one for his birthday celebration at school the following week. We just used his favorite color green instead of blue.
This was the 3rd cake we made in Course 1. It happened to be my husbands birthday that week so I let our kids pick the colors and we presented it that night.
