This is the cake I entered in the NCACS 2011 show and placed second!! It was the first time I ever entered that category in my division. Top tier has hand made fondant curves with edible pearl accent beads. Second tier is billowing technique and bottom tier is individual drapes of fondant. Roses made from 50/50 gumpaste and fondant. Gumpaste shoes are an actual size 8 1/2 ladies stilleto. Used the shoes as the template. Painted with red luster dust and alcohol. Gotta love a clearance rack and saran wrap!!
