The Rythym Of The Ocean
Bridal shower cake I made for a childhood friend. Her theme was the beach so naturally that's what I went with. it's a 8" bottom yellow cake with a 6" chocolate top with buttercream icing. the shells on top are NOT real. I got molds and poured melted dark and milk chocolate with peanut chocolate and swirled for a realistic effect.

Off He Goes Into The Wild Blue Yonder
So my husband graduated from UPT (undergraduate pilot training) for the airforce and was assigned the C-21. I thought It'd be super cute to make him a mini C-21 cake! The body was chocolate (of course) and the wings and back tail were made from rice crispies treats (which is why it's so bumpy!). It's all covered in fondant, pieces cut out by hand.

Fairytale Castle
11x11" hershey's chocolate cake base, with 8" vanilla cake and 4" chocolate cake castle. All decorated with buttercream. Towers were made with sugar ice cream cones and waffle cones coated in sprinkles. Towers were really top heavy and started leaning so I'd make a support dowel if possible.

My First Fondant Cake!
Bottom 10" two layered chocolate fudge cake with buttercream underneath the fondant and 8" sourcream yellowcake with same buttercream and fondant. Decorating was inspired by the invitation. Polka dots matched back of invitation. I start my first wilton course in Feb. Looking forward to fine tuning my skills.
