This is my first square cake covered in fondant. The pictures don't really show the bright colors (turquoise, lime green, hot pink) very well, but I was pleased with this one.
My 1st cookie - an apple. Gonna need some practice with these, but I had so much fun making it. Think the little worm is too cute! ;0)

Based on a design in the Wilton 2010 Yearbook. I didn't have the right tip, but I just made it work. :0)
Bottom tier is WASC with raspberry filling; top is chocolate with raspberry filling. I'm surprised this made it from home - to class - back home - to work. ha! Sorry about the poor photo quality. :-) Still have a lot to learn but I am so very proud!
Had a couple of fondant mishaps, but was pleased overall. I LOVED making the gum paste roses, but need more practice. Cake was chocolate pound cake with mocha filling. Very yummy!

Thisis my first attempt at covering a cake in fondant. I used one of the MMF recipes on this site -- what a God send. Everyone actually liked the taste. Can't wait to make another one!
Final cake for Course 1. Some of my roses are a little wacky because my icing was too soft. I just told everyone that they are new variety of roses. ha ha! Can't wait for Course 2. :0)
