Baby Bump Cake! My First!!
Ok ok, I know we've all seen the baby bump cake! But this was my first, and I was pretty pleased with the way it came out! Fondant still giving me issues, this time it was too soft!! It covered nicely but I had the hardest time getting it to the cake, any little movement and it ripped! I WILL LEARN MMF ONE DAY!!! Then my chocolate was WAY too dry!! UGH! But overall I really liked the way this turned out--and so did the recipient! Blue & Brown baby boy baby shower. I also made cookies to accompany it. The top curved part was baked in my pyrex bowl and put on a 10" round base cake which I carved down. Boobies were made from two small pyrex "dip" bowls and then I took my crumbs from carving and smashed them on top for a more round look :) Also on my cookies, I got inspiration from PSneed's quitled cookies!

My Princess' 3Rd Bday Cake
I was a little rushed for time on her cake. Her Birthday is 4 days after Christmas, I was decorating this literally up until 30 minutes before guests started to arrive. So I really feel like it turned out pretty ok. I had some Fondant issues--but this was just lack of experience, not the same crumbly problem I had with my Topsy Turvy. Anyway, I tried to match the birthday decorations the best I could. TFL. Yummy Chocolate WASC version cake, with plain old buttercream under the MMF. And my princess LOVED it!!! So that's all that really matters!!!

So Here It Is!! My First Topsy Turvy!
This is my second cake!! Besides ones that my mom and dad have had me make as support :) It is Chocolate & Strawberry cake (WASC Versions)!! Cream Cheese "flavored" buttercream. I had to come up with something that tasted like cream cheese but wasn't something that had to be refrigerated! So I came up with an alternative that tastes AMAZING!! Birthday girl loved it and was gushing all over it! Fondant really gave me issues. I made MMF, and the consistency felt so good, but then when I went to put it on the cake it was crumbly--not sure what the heck I did, except maybe because this time around I used the off brand marshmellows. Any suggestions? Comments & Constructive Criticism welcome! TFL.

Christmas Cookies
I wound up doing around 20 dozen cookies for the Christmas Season. But through it all, I got more comfortable doing them AND found an icing I love and a cookie recipe I love! Thanks to a fellow cake central user! Everyone loved the cookies. This was my first Christmas doing cakes and cookies, so 20 dozen was a lot for me!! But I did it, and I survived!

Cornucopia Cake
So I'm not sure this is the place this cake should be, but there is no category for Thanksgiving cakes, or Brown Cakes, or anything that describes this cake. But this is my "first time" doing a Cornucopia cake--I'm still only about 2 months into cake deocrating. This is also my "first" ordered cake!! I baked this in the medium paisely pan and then carved the top down and added my carving to the base of the cake to elongate the front end. (The front end is crumbs "glued" with peanut butter icing. This cake was A LOT of fun. Although I'm not charging enough AT ALL--I didn't expect it to turn out as good as it did, so I discounted the price--that was dumb. So here it is a Chocolate Cake first covered and torted with Peanut Butter Icing, then basket weave in Chocolate Buttercream (used both cocoa powder & blocks of chocolate & Brown color to get the coloring). Decorated in Fondant leaves, pumpkin, & acorns, and garnished in peanut butter & chocolate chips. After I took these pictures I put more chips around the base of the cake. Thank you Milkmaid42 & Fee79 for your helpful hints on doing the fondant leaves!! TFL any comments are welcome :)

Fondant Class
This is the package cake I made today in my fondant class. I also tried the WASC and boy was it yummy!!! Cake covered in pink marble fondant, with pink bow (also my first), pink cut out flowers, and teal cut out baby flowers. WASC cake covered in White Chocolate Almond Butter Cream and then MMF. This was actually my second attempt at fondant, the first being a disaster that I tried before taking cake classes. TFL!!
