Halloween Baby
I made this cake for my baby shower, I'll be having a little girl in just 2 weeks! :) Everybody thought I was crazy to make my own cake, but I really wanted to have a cute cake, and I don't have any friends that do cakes. It's an 8in+6in frosted in buttercream, with fondant for the accents. This is the first time I've used the First Impressions baby mold, and it was so fun and easy!

Oreo Cake
6in frosted in cookies & cream buttercream frosting (just mixed in crushed up oreos). Garnished with chopped oreos. Normally I only use cookies & cream as a filling since it's not a very pretty frosting and you can't do much with it. But the customer really wanted the whole thing (including the cake) to be cookies & cream. So here's what I did! :)

Autumn's Wedding Cake
The bride saw a similar cake that I had done and wanted it, but with purple flowers. It's a 10in+8in+6in frosted with buttercream. The flowers and black swirls/dots are done with fondant. I painted the orchids with two shades of purple to get that look. Very proud of how this turned out!

Reese's Cake
I made this for my wonderful hubby's birthday! It's a 6in round, chocolate cake with peanut butter buttercream frosting (I just mixed peanut butter in to my regular frosting recipe and added more milk, plus some food coloring to get it a nice shade). Then I drizzled some magic shell chocolate on the edges, and decorated with chopped Reese peanut butter cups. So yummy!!!

Unicorn & Rainbow
Thanks to modthyrth for her gorgeous unicorn cake design, I only made a few slight changes because I loved it so much. This is an 8in+6in frosted in buttercream, with fondant for the flowers, letters, unicorn, and rainbow. The flower centers are sugar pearls. I brushed pearl dust on all of the fondant pieces to make them shimmer. Definitely grateful for my extruder on this one!!!!

Pink & Gray Quilt
I made this to go with the nursery bedding. It's a 6in+8in square cake frosted in buttercream, with fondant ruffles (and elephant in the 2nd picture). For the quilting, I used a regular diamond impression mat, then went over the whole thing again but moved the impression mat up about half an inch or so. The frosting kind of stuck to the impression mat (guess I didn't let it crust enough), but I thought it gave it a cool, more real look, so I didn't bother trying to change it.

Poker Table Cake
This was a 10in round that I cut to a hexagon, then frosted with chocolate buttercream. The details are all fondant. I used edible markers for drawing on the red chips and the cards. For the black chips, I used Americolor White food coloring and a fine paint brush to draw on the numbers.
