Pink Buttercream Cake With Roses
12 inch double layer yellow cake. Pink buttercream, white roses by brush embroidery, with pink roses on top and sides made from buttercream as well. The silverplatter was just a nice way to present it! As always, tips and suggestions are welcome as I am LEARNING! Ü
Ivory Rolled Buttercream Cake With Stencil
Another attempt at rolled buttercream (I hate fondant - it tastes sick!), buttercream stencil, but I had to pipe over it. Scroll work on top, satin ribbon and bow. The rolled buttercream was not nice, too soft, but easier to fix. I should have used roayl icing for the stencil I think. Please give me suggestions and tips! It tasted great and looked okay for a first try. Ü
Pink And Brown Flower Cake
Frosting is buttercream and fudge. This is my first attempt at this technique. Froze the cake for 1 hour before "painting" flowers. Overall I think it turned out okay. Any suggestions are welcome!
My first topsy turvy . . . a little too crooked I think, but it was sturdy! White cake with Buttercream and fudge icing. This was difficult to make, but I was grateful to avoid disaster!
One layer chocolate cake carved into figure. Breasts were baked in ceramic bowls and layer on top base layer. Frosted with buttercream!
2 tier chocolate cake with buttercream frosting. Volcano is waffle cone with licorice, Lion's den is also a waffle cone. Palm trees are paper leaves glued on to pretzel sticks. The animals came in a pack from the dollar store! I used blue glitter frosting for the water effect
