Sassy Cake #2
My Sassy cake is back but this time with more "Sass"! I added gold accents, a handmade red stiletto and a ruffled ribbon! How much more Sassy can we get! It's an 8" buttermilk cake with Swiss Meringue buttercream and covered in fondant. Gumpaste stiletto, roses, rose petals, "girlie" cutouts, a sexy ruffled ribbon, red and gold cirlces and "Happy Birthday" banner round out the design. Hope you like it as much as I do!

Cutouts include lipstick, purse, shoe, martini glass and party dress all accented with disco dust. Gumpaste roses. "29" and purple circles all accented with disco dust. Royal Icing writing and dots. TFL!

Blue/brown Wedding Cake
Ok. I know I probably shouldn't but off the bat, let me say I'm not happy with how this turned out. It's a 12", 9", 6" square, Pink Velvet Cake with Cream Cheese icing and Chocolate Ganache covered in MMF. Piping is R.I. and flowers are fondant. This is my first "real" wedding cake and I'm really glad it was for a friend or else I probably would've had to refund some money. The fondant gave the most trouble as far being able to smooth it. My piping's not great but I was pleased with the overall look. The middle tier with the circles threw me off but that's what the bride wanted. If you have any suggestions on the fondant I'd really appreciate it. TFL.

Mickey Mouse Clubhouse
I did a small 6" red velvet cake for my nephew who wanted a Mickey Mouse Clubhouse cake. I got the design from several cakes both here and other sites. It came out better than I expected but what really sold me on it was when I walked in with it and my 4 yr old nephew ran up to me saying, "Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Cake!!!!" He was so excited about it and that makes it all worth it!
