Nathan's Pond Baby Shower Cake
Made for a frog-themed baby shower. Invitation included frogs, caterpillars and snails which are all included in the cake's design. The mother-to-be knows she'll be having a boy who will be named Nathan, hence the sign. The frog on top is a squeaky, bath toy meant as a keepsake. Vanilla buttercream over hazelnut-flavored white cake.

Birthday Cake With Spring Flowers
Requested by my neighbor Liz for her mom. Liz's three little girls insisted Grandma's cake have plenty of flowers so it's covered with pansies and daffodils on a basket weave top. Flowers are made out of RI while the gluten-free vanilla cake is covered with vanilla BC. TFL!

My latest creation which is a doll birthday cake made for my neighbor's youngest daughter, Jillian. These are so much fun to make. The doll is Ballerina Barbie nestled in a gluten-free chocolate cake covered with vanilla buttercream. The sign was created on my color printer and embellished with rhinestones. Thanks for looking!

Deployment Party Cake
Made for a party to honor one of my husband's best friends. Ed is a master sergeant in the Texas National Guard and is being deployed to Iraq for a year. He and his family are very special people. The cake is my most requested, red velvet with cream cheese icing filled with layers of fresh sliced strawberries and fudge filling. It's decorated with the "T Patch," a blue arrowhead insignia of Ed's brigade. The sides of the cake are decorated to simulate desert camoflage. I love the name of this particular pattern - cookie dough!
