Saw a cake like this here on CC and it matched my little girls party dress :) Covered in all butter cream w/fondant accents, I had issues with my butter cream, it was so hot outside, and the house would not cool down below 80 :( TFL :)

14Th Birthday Zebra Cake

Made this quickly for my son's girlfriend, it's 3 layers of chocolate, with vanilla buttercream, got the recipe from luvbuttercream and it is super YUMMY!!! I didnt have the time for the frosting to set properly, nor did I have any Viva, lol. I think it turned out ok :) I also put my numbers in the oven to harden, and it worked wonderfully!!!!!

Chocolate Cake With Strawberries

Yum!!!! Triple layer dark chocolate cake, covered in chocolate butter cream, topped off with melted chocolate and dipped strawberries, can you say YUM!!!!

Twilight Baby Shower Belly Cake

I was asked to do a Belly cake for a Twilight themed baby shower :) There is a vampire bite below the belly button, but I gave the 'blood' to the hostess since the cake would be sitting for a while before the shower. This was the first cake I covered completely in fondant :)

Minnie Mouse Clubhouse

I borrowed this design from one I saw here on CakeCentral, a friend wanted a Minnie Mouse Clubhouse cake, and I was stumped, lol. This was for two little girls, so each side is a mirror image. Stars and bow are out of gumpaste, all other decorations are fondant.

First Birthday Giant Cupcake

This was for my daughter's first birthday, I was pressed for time so the buttercream is not as smooth as I would have wanted it. I tried the Wilton Giant cupcake pan, but couldnt get it to bake properly, I used 2 6" rounds for the base of the cupcake and the top of the wilton pan for the rest, the cupcake is sitting on 9" rounds :)

Firetruck Cake

I used a coloring page from the internet and made the fire truck from fondant, I didnt have black, thought I did, and was in a pinch, so colored the red w/black gel, not a good move, but it worked. Cake is frosted w/buttercream

Flip Flop Cake

My second cake :) A friend wanted a flip flop cake for her daughter's birthday, and this is what I did, I used a pair of flip flops and made a stencil, cut the cake from that and covered in fondant, used gumpaste for the straps, letters and numbers.

Fun 13Th Birthday Cake

This was my first attempt with making a cake for someone other than family or friends. I used buttercreram icing, and the decorations are out of fondant, next time I'll use gum paste for anything that has to stand :)
