Just got Debbie Brown's book and wanted to give this a try. I had two 6" cakes left over from another one I baked so this is a small tree but had fun making it.
Quick football theme cake. Helmet is made our of two 6" and carved, face mask is made with gumpaste.

Had a request for a cake for two little boys that liked different things, one wanted a dinosaur cakes and the other wanted cars so this is what I came up with. Vanilla cake with buttercream icing with a 1/2 ball cake for the body of the dino. Thanks for looking
Marble cake with buttercreme icing...This was my first time making blocks and I thought "how hard can it be"...lesson learned. I had so much trouble making them perfectly square, while icing them the corners just wouldn't stay nice. Then the fondant...ugh! It was starting to get so warm out that it would just slide down the sides. I had to keep putting them in the fridge to set :( After making all the individual cakes where made I started stacking, I used bubble straws and was going to go 1, 2, 3 layer but the weight or the second layer started crushing the block in the middle. This was my nightmare cake...I learned a lot and will try to do blocks again but just as a trial run to see if I can fix my mistakes. How else can a person get better right?

First 3D cake and had a few challanges with the fondant tearing in the corners. Used a 12 x 18 sheet cake cut in three and stacked. Used a steamer to make it shiny. Small cake is the smash cake for the little guy.
WSBC with white chocolate cream filling. Buttercream icing with fondant accents. Buttercream sat for a few hours before using so it had so many air bubbles in it from mixing up again...oops, leasson learned there. This was my first time making the baby shoes and really enjoyed making them. Hope I get a chance to make many more because they are so cute
Black Forest Cupcakes with cream cheese icing.
Was asked to make a music note for a girl who plays the piano. Wanted something besides an all black cake so started looking for ideas and saw Fooby's cake and loved it. This is my version of it with the piano keys going around the note a layer shorter then the music note.
