Pink Poodle In Paris
This was my take on the popular "Pink Poodle in Paris" birthday theme. I did 9 inch rounds, tapered to 7 inches in the middle on the bottom tier, and 6 inch rounds ofr the top tier. Entire cake is iced in buttercream with fondant accents. Pale pink with white swirls and a bow, and the white with pink stripes mock the decor in the package. For added fun, I did black paw prints going up the side of the cake. The top is a # 1 (done with my cricut cake), and a ribbon rose. I did a jumbo smash cupcake with the same # 1 and a bigger paw print.

Go Gamecocks!
This cake is a true to size football helmet. It's 5 layers (about 2 in. each) of 10 inch rounds stacked. Two layers (with bubble tea straws in them), then a 1/2 foamboard, then 3 layers of cake on it. I carved it by hand, looking at the real helmet the whole time. Once happy, I covered it in buttercream. Gamecock emblem was done with my edible image printer. Stripes are fondant, chin strap is gumpaste. Mouthguard was the real one from the helmet!

Santa's Strung!
I've seen a few of these "Santa's stuck" cakes on here, so thank you all for inspiration! This cake was pretty big...fed around 80-90. For reference, Santa's rump was a half ball pan (6 inch) torted and filled. His legs were RKT covered in fondant. The chimney was two 11x15's (i think), cut in half and stacked (4 layers of cake total, sep. by a board, so two layers above, two layers below). I tinted 3 different reddish brown's for the bricks, cut them into rect. and put them on the cake. Then i airbrushed brown around the edges of each brick. Then I piped the white "mortar" in b/t the bricks and smoothed it once it crusted. The lightbulbs were covered in disco dust to make them sparkle, although it doesn't show up on this pic as much as I'd like. TFL!

His Favorite Things
I did this cake for a guy who was into EVERYTHING! And the customer wanted everything on one cake, so I had to get creative :) One of the things he loved was Cottonwood Pumpkin Spice Beer, so I had the thought of doing a cooler with "stickers" all over it representing his other loves (Boston sports teams, Mountain Dew, Golf, and the Dave Matthews Band). The cooler is covered in BC with fondant accents. Most of the images were done with my edible image printer. The beer is RKT covered with fondant and then an edible image of the beer label. Ice is sugar.

Sesame Street Cupcakes And Cruffle Pops!
The customer wanted six characters in cupcake AND cruffle pop form...it took FOREVER but i was fairly pleased with how they came out. The cupcake tower is separated by glass cylinders, in which I put 1-2-3 and A-B-C magnets and character toys. The cruffle pops are in a styrofoam block that I covered with poster paper.

Lucky In Love
I did this super fun slot machine cake for a couple that got married at the Wynn Hotel in Las Vegas a few weeks ago and then had a reception back home. I made them a slot machine themed after the invitations that had hearts that said lucky in love. My favorite part...it says "PLAY TO Wynn" :)

Suitcase Cake
I did this cake for a friend, who turned 30!!! His wife surprised him with this cake, which told him what his birthday present was...a trip to St. Lucia! I did a suitcase with stickers and items that represented the trip. They were flying American Airlines to the Sandals resort, where he played some golf. This cake was so easy and of course it was made easier by the Cricut Cake (using SCAL) to cut all of the logos!!!

Georgia Bulldog Doghouse
I did this HUGE groom's cake (weighed almost 30 pounds) for HUGE Georgia Bulldog fans! I came up with the idea of doing a doghouse, complete with a shingled roof, and then the details made it super personalized and really special. The banner says, "Go Dawgs, sick 'em woof woof woof," which is a popular cheer during the games. I did a scoreboard reflecting the blackout game where UGA beat Auburn 45 to 20! I made silver dog bowls, filled with water and food. The dog collar has a silver chain and dog bone shaped tags that say the couple's last names, Muse & Zawinsky. The Georgia logo is above the banner and voila! Everything, except the scoreboard's stick, is 100% edible. Iced in BC with fondant and gumpaste accents.

Bowling Cake
was truly touched that someone I had never met before drove 3 1/2 hours just to get a cake from me! Her daughter, Leigh, was turning 9 and had her party at a bowling alley. She loves lime green so I went with a palette of green, black and white. Bowling pins and bowling balls, along with zebra stripes make this cake extra funky :) Cricut Cake (using a jpeg from SCAL) cut all of the bowling pins!

Viva Las Vegas
I did this HUGE cake for a guy turning 42 and his wife threw him a casino themed party. The bottom tier is a craps table; the second tier a dice with the 4 & 2 sides facing the front ;) The third tier is a stack of poker chips and it's all topped with a "Welcome to Jim's Las Vegas Birthday" sign. And I hid the motor in the green chip so the sign ROTATED 360°!!! Cricut Cake cut most of the letters!

1St Anniversary Of Your 29Th Birthday!
This cake was for two ladies who turned 30 within days of each other and had a joint birthday party. The party was titled, "Lisa and Susan's 1st Anniversary of their 29th Birthday"...cute right?! I had free reign with the design, so I just made something pretty, elegant and fun...just like the girls :) Bottom tier was vanilla with cookies and cream; top was chocolate with buttercream. BC outside and gumpaste flowers; sliver dragees for detail!

Isabella's Pot Of Golden Birthday Cake
Inspired by Goonergirl's cake! I did this cake for my daughter Isabella. It was her golden birthday this year (she turned 4 on the 4th) so we had to incorporate gold into the cake. Then she said she wanted rainbows, so I thought, Pot of Golden Rainbow party!!! It was perfect!!! The cake is iced in BC and the rainbow and letters are fondant/gumpaste. The pot of gold is just a lemon wrapped in black fondant to look like a satchel!!! It was so fun to make! I'll post a pic of the inside of it next!!!

Rhinoceros Cake
I created this HUGE cake for a televised birthday party for a celebrity! The cake was over two feet long and one and a half feet tall. The entire body is cake except the underbelly; the legs and face are RKT. The cake is covered in fondant and airbrushed to look muddy. The total board measurement was 3 feet by 1 1/2 feet, which was a lot of grass to pipe!

Erin's Birdie Cake
This cake was done for my friend, Erin, who is having a baby girl...after losing a few babies along the way. She has nicknamed the baby "birdie" and so I wanted the cake to reflect that love between mommy and baby. Iced in BC, I put a simple tree with leaves leads up to a chocolate nest. The nest has momma bird watching over her little pink egg.

Bowl Of Fruit Loops
Such a sweet story...my friend doesn't allow her 5 year old son (Charlie) to eat sugary cereal, so every time he visits his Papa, he takes him to Cracker Barrel, where Charlie can order Fruit Loops. When it came time for Papa's birthday, Charlie said, "make him a bowl of Fruit Loops!" So that's what I did!!! Cake is iced in BC, royal icing was used as the drips, gumpaste for the silver spoon!
