This was a cake for a little girls first communion. Mom wanted to replicate the dress her daughter would be wearing...
A last minute order (seriously, the day of!).... I was not given any suggestions on what to make.... so I was on my own.... I knew the Birthday girl loves to shop, so this is what I came up with! Shopping Bags are MMF....
Rice Paper Photo transfer, all accents are MMF
Cinderella Dress is Lemon Sponge cake layered with Vanilla Buttercream. Covered with MMF, dusted with shimmer dust. 9x13 cake is Lemon Sponge cake with Raspberry Mouse, covered in Vanilla Buttercream. Flowers and Banner are MMF.
This was a last minute order for a friend.... I couldn't get ahold of a ball pan, so I carved a 6inch cake to make it look like a half a ball.....
This was a class practice cake.... I didn't want to waste it, so I took it apart when I got home and added some halloween cutouts.... not too bad for something I just threw together....

This Cake is Iced with Whipping cream, and the Cap is buttercream. The Diploma's are MMF. This was a learning experience... I was not sure if the buttercream would run through on the Whipping cream, and it did.. Originally the letters were written on the whipping cream, I then scraped them off and made some quick MMF banners and then wrote it... Couldn't do too much about the cap at that point... Next time I won't be mixing Whipping cream and Butter Cream... :o)
This is a cake I made for a friend, her son's girlfriend is going backpacking across Europe and he is having a Bon Voyage party for her. The Cake is Iced in Chocolate Fudge Buttercream, with Fondant Accents. She likes animal prints and the colour pink so I tried to incorporate that into the cake too. I was inspired by many talented cake artists here on CC. Thank you, and thanks for looking!! :o)
