Hydrangea Garden Cupcakes And Groom's Cake
This is a mini cake that coordinated with the larger version wedding cake. The cupcakes are all monogrammed (as was everything else possible at this reception) with gumpaste medallions. I used a scrapbooking stamp to make the monogram and then airbrushed them.

University Of Kentucky Football Helmet And Mascot
This cake was so much fun to make and quite a bit challenging as this is my very first helmet! The base board (the mascot) is 24"x20"; the "field" support is 10" tall; the helmet is 12" tall, so altogether just under 2'! The helmet is "actual size" and is as close to an exact replica as I could get. The face mask had a few other "pieces" that didn't quite make it through dry time. mask is gumpaste. Helmet and decorations are fondant; grass is royal icing.

Haha...this Cake Has A Funny Story. Blue/yellow Anniversary Cake
So....a few girls at my store thought they would take it upon themselves (note, they are doing a good job learning...) to take a cake order while I was out and do the cake themselves.....lets just say that I haven't seen the cake because it was "hidden." So I had all of 2 hours to pull together another faux cake for a furniture store's anniversary celebration. the cake needed to sit in a display case for 30 days, so no icing.....this is all i had to work with because i had no drying time for anything. It is a styrofoam cake covered in piping gel, airbrushed fondant and wilton's flowers (also airbrushed). The gold squares on the side of the cake are made from scraps of a bow that I tried to make and airbrush, but it fell apart (no drying time). This cake is not really my style, but I thought it turned out alright on such short notice. Needless to say, I don't think my girls will be taking any cake orders upon themselves again any time soon.

85Th Retro Mama Birthday Cake
This was for an 85th birthday girl who didn't want anything "old." It was a lot of fun, but took a while to get everything attached. The hardest part was baking. Each tier is 3 layers; one pink (strawberry), one yellow (lemon) and one white (coconut). this was my first square fondant cake. I promise the cake was not crooked, I just couldn't take a straight picture : ). All the flowers are fresh and are in flower spikes.

Monogrammed Bib Cookies
These were so easy and everyone really liked them. I used a large daisy cutter and a round biscuit cutter. The idea came from wilton's rubber ducky bib cookies; i just liked the monogram better. I used the recipe that I found here on cake central....no fail sugar cookies I think. It worked wonderfully and tasted so nice.

Football Base (Unfinished)
This is a cake I'm trying for football season. Any feedback is appreciated! I am adding edible images to the football side or inzones for the team. I tried stenciling the yardlines and the numbers, but wasn't happy with the outcome, so I went back over with bc. this cake is chocolate with chocolate and buttercream icing. This was the very first one. I've done a few since and have improved/changed a little each time. Thanks for your feedback/comments!

I'm A Keeper
This was a cake done for a little boy's 1st birthday party. There are 12 photos around the main cake and 1 other on the smash cake. The decorations/invitations had a bass and little goldfish crackers. This was my first attempt at airbrushing a client's cake. Everything you see except the photos are airbrushed. Nothing was colored.

Pink/yellow/orange Transfer Cake
I used a white scroll chocolate transfer with orange, pink & yellow candy coatings and buttercream icing. The topper was a last minute addition and was actually a scrap that I grabbed and piped on the monogram. The cake is pound cake with strawberry filling, but I didn't bake the cake! My aunt baked it and brought it to me to decorate.

Red Wagon 1St Birthday Girl 2
THIS WAS MY VERY FIRST CAKE! so please excuse all the wrinkles and falling structures....this was an educational experience! I made this cake to match the party supplies (you can see them in the background) with the little red wagon and the flowers. I learned a lot from this cake. I made the little one to match for my daughter when she turned 1.

Red Wagon First Birthday Girl
This was my first attempt at putting more than one color fondant on a cake, only my second attempt at fondant period and my first attempt at modeling with fondant. It was for my daughter's first birthday, so I wasn't too worried about my (many) mistakes. Needless to say, this cake taught me A LOT! I am a very patient person though and I had a lot of fun. I painted the yellow fondant on the sides with yellow fondant paint and the "1" in the wagon trailer has an ironed on chocolate transfer of pink stripes on white fondant (also a first).
