Bowling Ball
My husband and his twin are both bowlers so I made them each a bowling ball for their birthday. I was going to try to match their ball color, but my husband never gave me a final answer on what color his brother's is. I gave up and just did chocolate. I had to do something "plain" for the picky guys so it's just plain old chocolate with an extra egg and pudding mix.

Scooby Doo
This was my nephews 3rd birthday cake. It was super simple, except for all those colors! Ugh! I told my husband an hour or so to do the cake and it took me at least 2 1/2 after I had to keep mixing more colors. Next time I do the cake the burger is turning into a present box! The only other problem was I thinned out my black too much so it was a little thick. I was tired and ready to quit so I just let it go!

Fondant Dots Stacked Cakes
It is a 10" and 6" rounds. The inspiration is from Wilton's Tiered Cakes book. It was actually my birthday cake too :) It is "Darn Good Chocolate Cake" from the Cake Mix Doctor. It is covered with fondant and different colored cut out dots with a buttercream dot border. It was so simple and fun to do! I think it makes a better birthday or party cake than wedding though!

Tulips On Top
This was actually a lady's 70th birthday cake, but I felt it was more appropriate as a wedding cake because my inspiration was all wedding cakes. It was my first shot at gumpaste tulips. I did an array of pinks so if I ran out of one color, I wouldn't have to try to match it. I started out wanting to cover the cakes with the tulips, but ran out of patience. I settled for just the top. It was a 12" & 8" strawberry cake with a cream cheese/Cool Whip filling and buttercream icing.

Cookie Cookie Tree
I made these for some family Christmas gatherings. I used the No-Fail Sugar Cookie recipe and dyed it green for the cookies. I used the nesting star cookie cutters. I realized after they were done that I was missing one of the stars- had put it away with the other cookie cutters- oops! Buttercream holding stuff together and the mini M&M ornaments.

Christmas Tree
I made this for a Christmas gathering. It was super simple. I just used the triple star tip and used mini M&Ms for lighs and Skittles for ornaments! I put peppermint in the buttercream frosting- YUM. It was a chocolate cake from the CMD baked in Wilton's Iridesent Christmas Tree pan. I used the pan for the truffles at the party too!

Frog
My friend collects frogs so this was her birthday cake. As I was assembling it, I realized my nephews had eaten one set of the cookie legs so I had to make new legs out of cake scraps at the last minute. I was in a hurry and didn't have time to perfect that nor the color. I used the Animal Crackers pan moving the ears up to be the eyes and a fruit roll up for the tongue.

Cake And Cookie Turkey
I got the idea from other cakes here and the directions from Wilton, I made the body out of the ball pan. It's a chocolate pound cake and frosted it with chocolate buttercream. The feathers are No-Fail Sugar Cookies sprinkled with sugar before they were baked. The head is Candy Melts with buttercream accents.

Barbecue Cake With Rolled Buttercream
I saw this as a Father's Day idea, but we had a friend's birthday party that we were going to that was a BBQ, so I did it for that instead. The dark stuff is chocolate rolled buttercream. The hotdogs, hamburgers and cheese are regular rolled buttercream. I painted the lines on the hot dogs with colored paste. I drew the grill grates and wrote with buttercream icing.
