Starbucks Cupcakes
I made these for my mother in law's birthday last fall. Though she loves coffee, she doesn't like anything else that tastes like coffee so I made them vanilla with chocolate buttercream filling. They're iced with vanilla Bettercreme and topped with caramel, chocolate syrup and cocoa powder. I baked them right in the cups. They are 4 oz. sample cups that my local Starbucks manager was nice enough to give me for the asking!

Tea Time
Teapot is 3 layers of 6 inch rounds, the bottom two are leveled and the top layer baked without bake even strips to create the rounded dome on top. Iced in buttercream with fondant and buttercream accents. Cup and saucer, spoon and rose are all gumpaste. Doily is fondant brushed with pearl dust and imprinted with a flower cutter. I made this for my mom's birthday.
