Hello Kitty Cake #2
I baked this cake for the guests of a one-year old's birthday party. It's Key Lime with Key Lime Buttercream. It was a 12 x 18 sheet with piping gel transfer. The "smash" cake I made for the little one's enjoyment was a much smaller version of this one and it was totally sugar free!

Baby Shower Cake
This a cake I baked for a "boy" baby shower. My daughter's friend wanted the "giant cupcake" for the mother-to-be to take home with her. In addition to the "giant" cupcake, I made three dozen cupcakes with white chocolate "baby feet" candies on them. (Sorry I don't have a photo of the smaller cupcakes. Cake was almond flavored with vanilla flavored buttercream icing. Even though I'm a novice at this and have only been decorating for a few months, I thought it turned out cute! I welcome your comments!

Baby Shower Cake
This is my version of Wilton's "layette on 'em" cake. It was for a baby boy shower in which the color scheme was blue and brown. It was an oval shaped white velvet flavor cake with buttercream icing. All of the baby clothes and buttons were made of fondant and the cake topper was the Wilton "Baby Face" topper. I'm really new to cake decorating, but I think it turned out pretty good. Your comments will be greatly appreciated.

Luau Bridal Shower Cake
This cake was for my daughter's bridal shower which had a luau theme. I tried to match the cake decorations to the invitations and table decorations. It was coconut cake with coconut buttercream icing. The shells are white chocolate/candy melts brushed with luster dust and the hibiscus flowers are royal icing. Unfortunately as I was trying to decorate it, the cake topper fell down the front of the cake and messed up the icing. I patched it up the best I could. Everyone seemed to enjoy it. Since I'm just starting out, I'd love to know what everyone thinks of it.

Tinkerbell #2
Just another Tinkerbell cake. My daughter asked me to bake this one for her co-worker's three-year old daughter. This time, though, I've got a little more experience and a couple of the Wilton Courses under my belt. Of course, I always find things I could have changed or done differently. As always, I welcome your comments.
