Tiffany Boxes And Diamond Rings Cake
I had been dreading this cake for a whole year! It was taken from The Cake Girls website and i had no clue how to do the rings - then i discovered Fimo polymer clay and they turned out fine - the cake itself i found so difficult that i have decided not to do large wedding cakes (i.e. 5 inch high tiers) again. Overall it turned out ok but i was really disappointed with the finish and the cake was slanted as my leveller slipped when i was levelling and torting. 10,8 and 6 inch chocolate, lemon and madeira cakes iced in fondant.

Fiddler Cake
I loved this cake! it was for a guy who plays the fiddle at weddings in cowboy gear so i had fun making a polymer clay figure for the first time - i love it so much more than working with sugar! i used the ivory black and green colours from his business website to tie it all together. 6 inch, 8 inch and 10 inch fruit, carrot and madeira cakes, fondant icing

Floating Wedding Cake
First non-stacked wedding cake - so much easier to do!! i dont like the look of them but they keep my sanity! i loath covering 5 inch high tiers so these flatter cakes are so much easier for me and not scary with stacking, etc - definitly the way to go. sugar paperwhites and forgetmenots. bride provided the topper.
