This isn't my cleanest work, but I wanted to share the pictures in case others were looking for more O.P. ideas. The head is GP with blue LED eyes (thanks to DH). Wheels are RKT, silver parts and hands are GP.
A cake for my quilter-mom's birthday. Inspired by a design in Kathleen Tracy's book "Remembering Adelia." 9" square, all MMF. (Sorry the picture's crooked...I couldn't get rid of shadows) :)
Nothing fancy...I wanted to do something quick and simple for spring (and use up some gumpaste too). ;) Buttercream icing with gumpaste flower cutouts.
For my nephew...I tried to make the top tier resemble caution tape and the bottom resemble granite- I'm anxious to know if you think I succeeded. ;) The "rocks" on the top form a 5. I apologize- it was difficult to get a decent picture.
6" round, covered with MMF. Enjoy!
My first tiered cake. It's MMF with RI roses. Not perfect, but I'm pretty proud!
My second attempt at a fondant cake! (Notice I didn't post the first...) :) Red velvet cake with MMF & buttercream piping.
