This is a cake for another friend. She wanted a clean simple cake with bright pink and orange. I attached two different color ribbons to creat the border and then I affixed jewels to the ribbon to give the ribbon some more detail and shimmer. The main jewels had bright pink centers which helped to tie in the bright pink ribbon. thank you to the photographer for supplying the beautiful picture.
This cake was for a friends wedding. It ended up being 5 tiers. I alternated detailed tiers with white tiers. All tiers had black satin ribbon for borders, but the white tiers had a jewel attached to the center of each side of the square.
