Golf Cake
The original design for this cake is not my own...my client sent me a pic, but I don't know whose it is, so I can't give proper credit. This cake is very close to the original pic, with a few of my own changes. The bottom was chocolate with cookies and cream filling, vanilla buttercream. The top was vanilla cake, caramel filling, vanilla buttercream. Cake was covered in fondant - all accents were made out of fondant/gumpaste. The birthday boy was turning 30, hence the 30 on the flag. The golf balls separating the cakes are real.

Second Tinkerbell Cake
My second attempt with a Tinkerbell cake for my daughter's 4th birthday in Dec. I'm much happier with this one than the first. I used the Tinkerbell doll sold in stores, took her wings off and replaced them with wings I made - gumpaste wings with royal icing swirls and rainbow disco dust.

Baseball Groom's Cake
White almond cake with chocolate ganache filling. The hat is a half of the Wilton ball pan - also white almond cake. I built the brim with fondant over cardboard. The ball is rice krispie treat, covered in fondant and individual pieces of red fondant stuck in for the laces. The dirt is crushed graham cracker mixed with brown sugar.

Singing Flowers Smash Cake
I did this smash cake for my one year old daughter....we had a joint party for her and my niece who share a birthday. The party was Alice in Wonderland theme...I did a large stacked cake for the guests and made each birthday girl an individual cake. This was a dairy-free vanilla cake with raspberry filling, with dairy-free PS icing with fondant and RI flowers. I painted their faces with gel dyes.
