First Rolled Icing
I just stumbled upon this picture. It was my first attempt at a folled icing. It was using a recipe for rolled buttercream (because I thought fondant still tasted gross). As you can see it turned out dry- LOL. But I finally came around to using fondant and am working on getting better with it ;)

Wonky Pink Castle
B-day cake for my neice and her friend for their 2nd birthday. I wanted to make the turrets out of foam covered in fondant, but was unable to find foam cylindars! So instead I used oreos gluded together with royal frosting and covered in fondant. It turned out ok, but not as clean as I would have liked (oreos do not make a level tower!!). But the kids loved to walk around and eat the towers :) The cake is WASC with strawberry cream cheese filling and cream cheese frosting then fondant.

Pool Designer
This was a cake for a pool designer who was celebrating his 5th year at his company. It was made to resemble a blue print of a pool design (I asked the designer to give me a sample of a simple design). I made the drafting tools from gumpaste. The cake is covered in fondant with the design piped on with RI. His co-workers kept the drafting tools after the cake was eaten so I guess it went over well :)

College Grad Cake
This was for a friend who graduated from college. Her party was pink and black and her personality is crazy so I went with a little zebra print and the cake bursting with confetti. The cake is a WASC cake with strawberry swirled into it. The filling was strawberry cream. Covered in BC with fondant accents.

Pink Princess Cake
This was a b-day cake for a 4 year old's party. She was VERY descriptive of what she wanted for her cake: pink frosting, white cake, strawberry filling, and a princess bow! Never heard a 4 yr old be that specific ;) It's a WASC cake finished with BC. Gumpaste roses (first time) and fondant decorations. I had problems getting the bow to stay on so I had to stick it in with toothpicks at the last minute so that ending up looking a little sloppy :(
