Cake was decorated to look like the invitation, with the exception of seafoam green on the bottom instead of pink, and the addition of pink butterflies. Very whimsical, and meant to not be "perfect". Butter cake with lemon BC filling and icing, royal piping and decorations.
My daughter was "in the mood" for a strawberry cake with my rum buttercream. So, I decided to decorate it cute, since we never really get to have a cake for ourselves! Covered in chocopan.
Hello Kitty cake, 10" vanilla and 8" chocolate. The mom had 2 color themes going on. Pastels (fondant topper was made to match the invitation) and hot pink ( to match the napkins/plates/etc.). Fun cake to do, and trying to incorporate both color schemes was a challenge :) TFL!
Did this for my friends birthday tomorrow. Amaretto cake with Amaretto/Espresso SMBC. Thanks to the ladies at CC for the recipe - yum! Chocolate roses did not photograph well, but my camera sucks! TFL!
Well, here it is! Thanks for the suggestions from the CC gals :) I am so very happy with this cake. Top is vanilla w/ raspberry filling, iced in BC. Bottom is dark chocolate with black Satin Ice. 80s decorations are all fondant.

Made this for my neighbors 6 year old girl. She wanted Hannah Montana, and jewels on the cake. I opted to forgo a lot of fondant decorations and made pink sugar cookies instead, which were also a big hit at the party. I did not have much to go on - Hannah Montana is pretty new to me :)
Had a demo on dusted white chocolate seashells at the ICES convention and HAD to try them! First attempt, so I need some practice. Constructive criticism welcome :) Cake is chocolate iced in buttercream.
Iced in butterceam, top is fondant. All deco pieces are either fondant or sugar. Thanks for looking :)
