A 6" wedding cake done in a simple basketweave with blue roses covering the top.
First things first...many thanks to Andrea_Beas for the ideas for this cake. It was a big hit and the little man loved it!
A birthday cake done in buttercream. I kinda winged the daisy-type flowers. It was fun. =)
I did this for my baby girl's 3rd birthday party today. I used the Wilton romantic castle kit and did it pretty similar to what they did but I used a basket weave on the cake. My princess loved it!
I did this cake for a woman who just became an American citizen. I used buttercream frosting for the cake and flower spray with fondant stars and red gel for the stripes. =)
The top of the wedding cake I did today. The otehr picture didn't really show the detail very well so I thought I'd send this as well. Thanks for looking.
A wedding cake I did today. It is all buttercream with pale yellow roses and lilac accents. I enjoyed making this.
I made this for my niece's first "friends only" princess birthday party. It's all buttercream (butterflies not edible) and she was thrilled.
A pink and brown chocolate cake w/ pink buttercream frosting. I also made the mini tiered cakes for each of my nieces. I never did the mini-tiers before. I'm off to search for pics of other mini tierd cakes on here. lol
Gold cake, buttercream frosting with yellow tipped blue roses and buds.
For my nephews. =) I can't wait to see their faces!
Just a plain birthday cake for a guy. Buttercream frosting, gold cake, and yummy. =)
A cake I did this weekend for my friend's wedding. All buttercream with light peach roses with a little bit of clear sugar dust on the flowers. I don't get to do these often so I enjoyed this. Thanks for looking!
My "bah-humbug" Valentine gift to myself. lol Done in fondant with a tipped rose bow. =)
For my son's preschool Christmas celebration.
Basketweave and swag buttercream wedding cake. It was topped with a "Precious Moments" figure set.
Tinted buttercream frosting and "tipped" buttercream roses.
For my little princess on her birthday done in her favorite colors. Gold cake, buttercream frosting.
This is for a 50s theme dinner party. It is chocolate cake, chocolate buttercream frosting, raspberry filling, garnished with chocolate shavings. I had so much fun doing this one!
For an 11 year old wrestling fan....=)
This was fun. =)
Buttercream frosting with fondant skates and snowflakes. I used one of those food color markers for the "stitching" and outlines on the skates. It was pretty fun. I've never worked with fondant before.
I iced the cake in buttercream and used black gel to make the checkered flag. I then placed the Lightning McQueen cake (made from one of those character shaped pans) on top and iced that. I used black and red sugar to trim the edges. I had a lot of fun!
