Sesame Street cupcakes for my son's 1st birthday party. Faces are buttercream, eyes, noses, beaks, etc. are fondant/gumpaste mix. I didn't take pictures before it traveled to the party, and the TX heat made them a little droopy but they were still cute!
Cake is for a 2 year old's birthday who LOVES balloons. Decorations are fondant/gum paste blend. TFL!!
Baseballs are made with melted chocolate candies with buttercream red stripes. Letters & stars are cookies rolled in sprinkles then baked. Pictures was taken with my camera phone since I forgot my camera, so the pic is not so great :( TFL!
Birthday girl wanted a fiesta / margarita cake with purple, turquoise, orange, lime green & hot pink - so this is what I came up with. It was inspired by many of the cakes on here. Thanks & tfl!
The strawberries are fondant with a little gumpaste mixed in and then hand formed, and then poked dots in it. The flowers are button flowers from the wilton flower cut out.
This is the smash cake to go with the cupcakes for a 1st birthday party. The theme was Strawberry Shortcake.

I really didn't have any ideas and this is what I came up with.
Cake with buttercream fondant. I molded white chocolate hearts and stuck them all over the cake.
Bowling ball & pins are fondant
The board is fondant, that I painted.
This was SO much fun and turned out SO amazing and real looking! The blue, is fondant that I just didn't mix in all the way to look like water.
Cake for Wilton Course 3
I used a Lego brick mold and painted white chocolate in it and let it harden. Then I baked the cakes and cut them in 2x2 squares and iced the cakes. Then I stuffed the molded chocolates with an iced cake square and made "cupcakes".
I made this cake for some friends of ours that just had a baby.
