Wine Crate #3
Cake is 12" long, 6" wide and 4" tall. The actual crate is bigger than the cake. The panels are gumpaste, painted with food coloring to give it the wood grain effect. The shredded paper is gumpaste. The wine bottle is a smaller wine bottle. I covered the real bottle with gumpaste. When it was firm enough, I removed it off the bottle and painted it with a 50/50 vodka & corn syrup mixture to give it the shine. The label is edible image.

Brooklyn Nets
The bottom half of the ball is a 1/2 ball of foam. The top half is cake. I used one 8" and one 9" and then carved it into the shape. I covered each half with fondant and then stacked the cake onto the foam. I used edible marker to write the message. I used a plastic drawer mat for the texture.
