Raspberry Easter

Raspberry white chocolate cupcakes with blood orange SMBC. I had tried for a pink grapefruit BC but couldn't get enough flavor from the juice or zest, and I couldn't find Grapefruit Flavoring. So I found some Blood Orange syrup at World Market (Love that store!!) and OMG it is amazing!! TFL

Sheldon And Pvp

This is a cake I made for the Web Cartoonists who created Sheldon and PvP. They came down to SCAD earlier this week and I used their poster as my inspiration. The characters are chocolate transfer and the Forsythe Park background is MMF painted using paste colorings mixed with vodka. I really had a lot of fun with this cake. My First Fondant Cake!!

This was my first time ever making or using fondant, and only the second cake I have ever decorated. I got a lot of ideas from everyone here on CC. The cake is covered in MMF along with the roses. The leaves are chocolate ( once again, from here!). The scroll on the front is painted on using some of the left over chocolate from the leaves. Any comments or suggestions for future use would be appreciated!
