Close up of the Hungry Jacks fairy ... I tried to copy the fairy from the invite. The only thing I altered was the hair, to make her a little more interesting. The flat hair looked a little boring. Took ages to make the fairy, especially when my daughter kept poking holes in it and eating bits! Grrrrrr!
My daughter had her 6th bday at Hungry Jacks, and wanted her cake to resemble the fairy on the invite. I tried my best...took ages to make! She seemed happy enough with the result. I will post more pics with a close up and invite to compare.
Closeup of the baby from Amelia's Christening Cake. Not the best pic, but I think you can see most of the details. Think I should've done the nose bigger. Only just started playing with fondant, a lot of practice needed still! Fun to make though.

Made for my 31st birthday by my 5 yr old daughter, and hubby. They did a great job! They even made a cat to sit on the broomstick out of licorice!
Made this for my daughters 5th Birthday....she chose the picture out of a book. She looks evil in the picture, and all made up for a night on the town! LOL!! My daughter helped me decorate it, so I don't care how it turned out, we had fun anyway.
Made these baby's out of fondant for my daughters class, at the end of the school term, and the teacher who was leaving to have a bub. The picture's colouring turned out a little yellow under the kitchen light. Chocolate mud cake with white chocolate icing. Made a cupcake each for all the kids in the class. Presented on a classy foil lined tray...(things tend to go missing when my daughter takes them to school!)
My first attempt at working with fondant. Rseult?? Weird looking teddy! At least the banana cake it was made of was yummy!
Made this from scratch in 2 cake pans, for my partners and bro in laws combined b'days...both huge soccer fans! After I made it I discovered you can buy ball shaped cake pans! Chocolate spots and licorice stripes.
The easiest and quickest cake to make with not much time to spare! B/C and heaps of lollies....great for a kids birthday!
I made this for a friends brothers birthday. He had just finished his army training. It's jam and cream filled chocolate cake, with BC icing, coloured a khaki colour. It has army toys on top. They were happy with the cake.... it was exactly what they asked for. I think it looks revolting! Tasted yummy though!
