Blue Butterfly Cake

This was for a bridal shower- the bride to be LOVES butterflies and her wedding colors are blue and silver. Covered in buttercream with gumpaste butteflies made with a patchwork cutter. This is definitely one of my favorite cakes that I've done!!

This was the biggest cake I've ever made. 5 tiers with the bottom tier being a cake dummy. Buttercream icing with fondant ribbon. Gumpaste calla lillies. I had to re-do the top tier on site as I had a disaster with it in transport so it's not perfect, but the bride and groom loved it! WASC cake with lemon curd filling. Their colors were yellow, white and black

Another Spaghetti Cake

Well, I know there's about a hundred of these on the website....but, I've been dying to make one for my mother in law. She's Italian and makes homemade meatballs and sauce that are to die for. I had scraps of cake left over from carving the racecar cake so I used them to make spaghetti. It was also her birthday!!

Nascar Dale Earnhardt Sr.

This was for my brother in laws 50th birthday. He is a huge nascar fan and #3 is his favorite former driver. All done in buttercream with fondant windows and #3. Hand carved....could have used some improvements, but he loved it!! The only problem I had was that after sitting overnight and the 6 hour drive, the black coloring seeped through the white and made it black as well. Had to basically redecorate upon arrival.

Winter 80Th Birthday

This was for a birthday that fell the week of Christmas. They only requested pink flowers and I had free reign to do the rest. So, I did pink and white poinsettia's with icicles as the top border. All done in buttercream. White cake with rasberry filling. Thanks! :)

Pink And Black Bridal Shower

I had a request for a fun pink and black cake for a bridal shower. I've been wanting to do one of these cakes for a long time. First attempt at making a fondant bow. It was really humid so I had a hard time getting it to dry hard. Iced in buttercream with MMF accents. Thanks for looking!

75Th Elegant Birthday Cake

This is a lemon cake with rasberry filling for a 75th birthday. The customer requested the cake to look elegant with lavendar flowers and absolutely no writing. I used a stencil to make the decorative white design to fill in the empty space. All buttercream icing and decorations.

Librarian Birthday

Request was for a birthday cake for an elem. school librarian. They requested the cake to involve books and balloons, so they got a book cake with balloons on it! Coconut cake with cocunut flavored buttercream icing. YUMMY!

Tin Man Cake

This cake was definitely an experience! We call one of my friends the "tin man" because she's had two knee replacements. This was for a surprise graduation cake, and the party thrower specifically requested a "tin man" cake, so I took it literally and made a huge tin man laying on the yellow brick road with a graduation cap instead of the funnel on his head. The cake board was approximately 42" long. WASC cake with white choc. and rasberry filling. Covered in MMF.

Thank Heaven's For Little Girls

Baby shower cake for a friend of mine. Iced with buttercream, and MMF bib with gumpaste shoes. The cake did not turn out near as good as I wanted it too, but the person was very excited and thrilled about it.
